In the series, Vanessa Rojas is a police officer and one of the members of the Chicago Police Intelligence Unit. Before becoming a cop, Vanessa grew up in 32 foster homes. During an undercover mission, Vanessa then meets Kevin Atwater, who is also an undercover cop. After sharing information with TH Intelligence Unit, Vanessa then becomes a permanent member of the unit. Lisseth Chavez played the character of Vanessa.
